Clear Kayaks Clear Canoes
Are children allowed on the clear kayaks and paddleboards– Yes, absolutely! We provide life jackets ranging from infant to adult.
Will you honor the price listed on third party websites– Yes! Oftentimes most 3rd party websites inflate the price and then take up to a 45% commission on those bookings. Furthermore if you book on a 3rd party website we do not have the ability to quickly or efficiently update your booking if you need to make changes ie: traffic, sickness, over-slept, missed your connecting flight, etc. If you need to cancel/change a 3rd party reservation ie Viator, Vacations Made Easy, etc. you need to reach out to them directly.
How will we know what there is to see and where to go during our rental– Once you arrive, we will go over a map and discuss the route you will be taking. This will include hot spots for both manatees and monkeys, spring heads, and historical landmarks.
Are there gators– Absolutely! Just about any body of water a gator can access they will enjoy. This is their home so keep an appropriate distance and be respectful.
Are drinks, food, and coolers permitted– Yes, feel free to snack, sip and enjoy your trip
Are dogs allowed on the clear kayaks and paddleboards– Yes absolutely! We receive emails and texts regularly regarding pups. Silver Springs State Parks allows dogs within the park. They do not permit them on their vessels. We are a private outfitter and we have always and will always permit dogs on our clear canoes.
Why should we book through a private outfitter instead of the state park- Florida State Parks concessions such as kayak rentals are not run by the state. They are ran by massive corporations that generally pay less than 10% of their net income to Florida State Parks. You can certainly book directly through the state’s website and enjoy being told the wrong way to go as the majority of the employees have never even paddled on Silver River.
Are we able to prepay our Silver Springs State Park entrance fee of $2 per person before we arrive– Yes please click the Silver Springs State Park Entrance Fee button below. You will enter your email. Then on the next page select Silver Springs State Park. Then you will select the pedestrian/ bicycle option and the number of people over the age of 6.
Refund Policy
Clear Canoeing does not issue refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled reservation.
To cancel your reservation and receive a full refund or reschedule, you must email your cancelation request to Rebecca@clearcanoeing.com, at least 48 hours before your reservation time.
Trips canceled by Clear Canoeing due to inclement weather will be refunded in full for the reservation. Clear Canoeing will not reimburse you for other expenses that may have been incurred.
Reservations canceled 48 hours or more before the reservation start time will not be charged. All bookings made within 48 hours of the reservation start time are all-sales-final.
We only accept email cancellations. If you need to cancel, email Rebecca@clearcanoeing.com with your cancellation request.
No-show participants will be charged full price. Reservations are marked as no-shows if the participants have not shown up within 15 minutes of the reservation start time.
Clear Canoeing reserves the right to change or cancel reservations due to circumstances beyond our control. In this instance, Clear Canoeing will refund the reservation in full. Clear Canoeing will not reimburse you for any other expenses that may be incurred.
Clear Canoeing will not be held responsible for any reservation you fail to keep due to any unforeseen circumstances.
